Why am I prompted to enter a new email address when logging into my existing TPA?
Due to an update in our account system, the same email cannot be shared between multiple Nexon accounts. As a result, you must enter a unique email address to link a new Nexon account with your TPA. If you want to use an email address that is registered with another account, log in to the associated Nexon account and change the email address through Account Settings.
Can I still access my existing TPA account via the login link if I choose not to provide a new email address?
No. Each Nexon account must have its own, unique email (no sharing the same email between multiple accounts). If you are prompted to enter a new email address when logging in to a TPA account, this indicates that the email associated with that TPA is already in use by an existing Nexon account. You have two options in this situation: (1) provide a different email address for the TPA account or (2) change the email address in question for your other Nexon account to free it for use by your TPA account.
Can I log in using my email address if I created a Nexon account through a TPA?
Yes. When you create a new Nexon account via a TPA, the email address associated with your TPA is used as the registered email for your new account, unless that email is already registered to an existing Nexon account. If this happens, you are prompted to enter a different email address.
If you have not set a password for your TPA linked Nexon account, you are prompted to do so when you sign in using your email address. You can also create a password from your Account Settings page or the Account Self-Service tool (see How do I set up a password for my TPA?).
Can I link my TPA account to an existing Nexon account?
Yes. You can link a TPA to your existing Nexon account from your Account Settings.
Do I need to log in with my email address or can I still log in through a TPA?
No. You can still log in via your TPA, assuming that you have linked it to your Nexon account.
Can I unlink my TPA if it is associated to an existing Nexon account?
Yes. You can unlink any TPA from your Account Settings.
How do I unlink a TPA from my Nexon account?
To unlink any TPA from your account:
- Log in to your Nexon account. Set a password, if prompted.
- From your account menu, click Account Settings, and then select Linked Account.
- Under Social Login, find the TPA that want you want to unlink, and then click Delink.
- Check that you have selected the correct account, and then click OK > Close.
How do I set up a password for my TPA?
If you have not yet set a password for your TPA linked Nexon account, you can set one from your Account Settings or the Account Self-Service tool. To do this from Account Settings:
- Log in to your Nexon account using the TPA link.
- From your account menu, click Account Settings, and then select Password & Security.
- Under Password, click Create.
- Follow the remaining on-screen instructions to verify your account and set your password.
To use the Account Self-Service tool, use the Reset Your Password option. For more information, see Using Account Self-Service > Reset Your Password.
Can I change my email address for an account that I created using a TPA?
Yes. You can change your email address through your Account Settings or the Account Self-Service tool, assuming that the email address that you want to use (change to) is not already associated with another Nexon account.
Can I log in using my Facebook credentials without sharing my Facebook email address with Nexon?
No. To use a Facebook login, the associated email address is required. If you decline to share this information during the initial log in process, then a Nexon account cannot be created.
If you change your mind, remove the NEXON app from your Facebook account settings (Account > Settings & Privacy > Settings > Apps and Websites), and then log in via Facebook and share your email address.
