The Reverent Tower is a boss trial dungeon located in "Other Regions" on the Departure Board, which can be challenged up to 7 times per week.
You can enter the Reverent Tower from Lv. 100 onwards. Battles are fought in one-on-one fashion.
In the tower, you meet a new enemy on each floor. After you defeat them, climb up to the next floor to battle the next enemy, all the way up to the final enemy on the 30th floor!
The Reverent Tower's departure period runs from the 1st of every month at 7AM UTC to the 1st of the next month at 12 AM UTC. The Tower's doors will close from 12AM UTC to 7AM UTC on the 1st of the month.
*Note that the in-game clock's time display will vary depending on your local time settings.
You can exit the Reverent Tower at any time; you'll start at the last floor you completed when you re-enter the Tower.
However, when the departure period ends, enemies in the tower will be reborn anew, and you'll need to start your journey through the tower from the first floor again. Therefore, if you want to challenge a specific floor, you'll need to complete the challenge up to that floor within a single departure period.
The enemy's ATT is adjusted in the Reverent Tower. The higher the floor you reach, the more powerful the enemies you encounter. You also get your stats adjusted with minimum-maximum damage applied.
Glamours, boons that comes upon conquering floors, can aid you in battle. You'll select one of three available glamours upon defeating an enemy, as well as see a preview image of the enemy on the next floor.
You can reselect what glamour you want (or choose no glamour at all) by exiting and re-entering the most recently conquered floor.
However, the glamour is only applied in the floor immediately after the selection. You select a new glamour on each floor. Some glamours are status effects that persist throughout the fight, and others are effects that activate on selection.
You can also accumulate a "Temporal Gauge" during battle. You can activate temporal powers through simple controls.
The moment your Temporal Gauge activates, time slows down for the enemy and the hero. When you use it in truly critical moments, you will be able to easily dodge enemy attacks.
When you first challenge the Tower, you'll fight in Mundane Mode, which features especially strong enemies and special rewards on the 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, and 30th floors. If you manage to clear the 30th floor, you can participate in Merciless Mode!
Merciless Mode doesn't feature any item rewards, and you'll have to complete your run through the Tower all in one departure. The time taken to complete a 30-floor Merciless Mode run will be saved to the Merciless Mode Leaderboards; compete among your fellow mercenaries to see who can truly conquer the Tower!
